Wirtek announces that Pragmasoft, a Wirtek company, has been awarded the PME Líder 2025 status by IAPMEI, the Portuguese Agency for Competitiveness and Innovation. The recognition highlights Pragmasoft’s strong financial performance, credibility, and sustained contribution to Portugal’s technology ecosystem.
The PME Líder distinction is a prestigious recognition created by IAPMEI to distinguish small and medium-sized enterprises with superior economic and financial performance, strong management quality, and high credibility in the market. The programme aims to highlight companies with sustainable growth strategies and strong competitive positioning in their sectors.
Strengthening Wirtek’s Position in the Energy Sector
Pragmasoft became part of the Wirtek Group in August 2024, when Wirtek acquired the Portuguese software company as part of its Accelerate25XL growth strategy. The acquisition expanded Wirtek’s international delivery footprint and significantly strengthened the group’s capabilities in clean energy and industrial software development.
Founded in Portugal and led by Humberto Ferreira, Pragmasoft has built more than two decades of expertise in developing advanced software solutions for energy, automation, mobility, and industrial systems.
