Our equity story

Wirtek helps companies digitalise, automate and optimise energy and mission-critical operational processes through IT development and IoT-based energy solutions. We combine a stable services business with scalable solutions built on our own IoT platform designed for high uptime, data quality and secure operations.

Our market

The European IoT devices market is forecast to reach US$ 42.8 billion by 2030 with a 15.9 % CAGR from 2025‑2030, while the industrial IoT market in Europe is projected to hit US$ 86.2 billion by 2032, growing 17.5 % per year.

Demand for smart energy solutions is also accelerating: the European energy‑management systems market is expected to grow from about US$ 17.3 billion in 2025 to US$ 31.7 billion by 2030, a 12.9 % CAGR.

These trends illustrate the strong momentum behind IoT, automation and energy optimisation across the EU-areas where Wirtek’s services and solutions are well positioned to deliver value.

Our business domains

We work across 3 specialised domains:

  • Energy: for the industry, we provide expertise for production, transmission to distribution. For energy‑intensive operations companies, we provide tools to cut waste, optimise consumption and enable ESG reporting.

  • Connectivity & Automation: connecting devices, platforms and systems and adding intelligence.

  • Digital Engineering: scalable platform development, system integration and resource‑optimisation tools.

Our business model

We combine a stable Services business with a growing Solutions business:

  • Services: software development, IoT and QA focused on long‑term client relationships. AI is used systematically to raise utilisation, speed and margins.

  • Solutions: IoT and software‑based energy solutions built on the Wirtek IoT Suite. We provide sensors, gateways, data collection and standardised vertical solutions, generating revenue from implementation projects, IoT hardware, licence fees and recurring service agreements. Solutions drive our ARR and margin expansion.

Our clients

We work with organisations of all sizes, from start‑ups to global corporations, and treat every engagement as a partnership.

Wirtek’s solutions are deployed in 93 countries and our average client relationship lasts more than 6 years, which reflects the trust and commitment we build through collaboration, technical excellence and dedicated teams.

Rather than simply providing outsourced capacity, we integrate with clients’ teams to deliver enduring value and shared success.

M&A approach

Wirtek follows a disciplined M&A strategy centred on small, theme‑oriented acquisitions that strengthen our platform, energy expertise or engineering capacity.

Integration is structured to ensure culture fit and rapid realisation of synergies, with clear principles to minimise dilution and maintain a conservative financial profile.

Financial profile

  • Historical top-line growth supported by both organic initiatives and acquisitions.

  • Focus on stabilisation, consolidation, and margin improvement.

  • Organic growth expected in 2026 driven by a stronger Services business and initial scaling of the Solutions business.

  • Recurring revenue (ARR) expected to become an increasing share of revenue as Solutions matures.

Strategy focus

Our strategy centres on three drivers supported by operational excellence:

  • Reinvent services: modernise our delivery model, increase productivity and raise margins.

  • Scale solutions: expand the Wirtek IoT Suite and commercialise standardised vertical solutions.

  • Partnerships & M&A: build strategic partnerships and pursue selective theme‑oriented acquisitions that strengthen our IoT platform, energy expertise and engineering capacity.

Outlook for this year

On 12 August 2025 Wirtek updated the revenue guidance for 2025, reflecting a slower-than-anticipated recovery from the significant revenue reduction at the beginning of 2025 following the completion of a major client engagement with a Danish client. Importantly, EBITDA expectations remain unchanged, supported by decisive cost optimisation measures.
