WirTek has launched its EasyCare Direct product at the 3GSM World Congress 2003 in Cannes, France.
EasyCare Direct delivers out-of-the-box self-care directly to the mobile operator’s new subscribers. This innovative new product complements WirTek’s existing EasyCare portfolio and was well received by both potential customers and the press.
Using the innovative distribution media SmartCD, EasyCare multimedia guides can be distributed together with the SIM card that is shipped to new subscribers. The SmartCD integrates a SIM card and a CD-ROM into a single, credit-card size media with a capacity of about 12 MB. More than enough space for both promotional material and several EasyCare multimedia guides.
EasyCare Direct multimedia guides can help subscribers through the first critical steps of using new mobile phones and the mobile operator’s wireless data services. This will reduce the need for call center support and will increase the use of wireless data services such as SMS, WAP and MMS, creating more revenues.
EasyCare Direct can also be marketed as content shipped on a normal CD- ROM. This way, mobile operators have a channel to ship self-care content to existing subscribers that purchase a new mobile phone without a SIM card.
EasyCare Direct is the latest addition to WirTek’s EasyCare portfolio of customer support solutions for mobile operators. TheEasyCare portfolio also includes EasyCare Self-Care, EasyCare Agent and EasyCare Retailer.
