Wirtek’s Romanian development center have just received the visible proof that also the Romanian department’s QA processes are top class.
When they hang the framed ISO certificate up on the wall in Romania they have good reason to be proud of themselves. Wirtek, whose Danish parent company was ISO certified in the beginning of 2006, have from the very beginning invested a lot of energy into also making their Romanian staff members understand the thoughts behind ISO and QA. Their efforts have borne fruit and the three day long review in December was an efficient process that resulted in a certification without annotations.
Positive observations
The well-renowned certification house, TÜV, were in charge of the review of Wirtek’s processes in Romania. In the final report, they emphasize among other things that the efficient transfer of knowledge taking place from the Danish parent company and the company’s high level of focus on quality, which is supported by targeted actions, are factors that contribute to ensuring quality.
Efficient work with quality
Mr. Kim D. Jensen, Wirtek’s Corporate Quality Manager, points out that the team in Romania have been excellent at adopting Wirtek’s existing system and, after just a few adjustments, at implementing it into the Romanian development center.
“Our entire staff have been very dedicated to the process. This has provided us with the best thinkable basis for our continued work with QA. We are very well equipped for the continued efforts that are required of us in order that we can continue to live up to our own high standards”, says Mr. Kim D. Jensen, Corporate Quality Manager.
