Technical Support Engineer

Put your experience to work as an Application Engineer in the dynamic and robust culture working environment of Keysight's Technical and Application Support team in EMEAI. As a member of a Pan-European team you will assist Keysight's customers by providing timely and effective technical support towards resolving technical problems of varied scope and complexity.

What you'll be doing:

  • Every day you will have the opportunity to impact the success of Keysight’s customers that work in areas such as automotive, communications, and aerospace.
  • You will learn to properly qualify, diagnose, troubleshoot and resolve customer’s measurement challenges.
  • Accurately document information and resolution in Keysight’s CRM systems, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction and operational excellence.

What you'll need to be successful:

    Bachelors/Master’s degree or University Degree in Electrical/Electronic/Computer Science Engineering or equivalent.
  • Jobs_Technologies
    Fluency in German and English oral and written communication is required. Ability to explain technical concepts and subjects over the phone and through email.

    1+ years of applicable experience as a test engineer, design engineer, application engineer (will consider recent college graduate candidates eager to learn and develop).
  • Jobs_Technologies
    Familiarity with bench top electronic test instruments (such as function generators, digital multimeters, oscilloscopes, signal analyzers, network analyzers) is an advantage.

    Basic programming skills applied in a T&M environment, using languages such as: C#, .NET, C++, VB, Python, LabView or VEE Pro.

    Self-motivated to investigate and learn Keysight products and the applications they are used in

    Customer-first mindset with the passion to serve customers and the ability to effectively interface with customers.

    Strong organizational skills, ability to multi-task in assisting multiple customers every day, prioritize and work well under pressure.
